Gilt bridge pattern movement, going barrel with polished steel visible stop work, separate train and repeating bridges, the latter pierced to view spring, steel cylinder escapement, plain three arm gold balance, diamond end stone, flat spring, quarter repeating on gongs by depressing pendant, indirectly key set, signed on the gilt cuvette, white enamel dial, roman chapters, gold hands, the case lid finely painted with a scene depicting Susannah and the Elders, bow struck with French restricted warranty marks for 1809-1819 and 1819-1838
