What we have here is a finely assembled Porsche 996, that first hit Dutch tarmac through Pon’s car dealership on the 24th July 2000. The car is well specced as the following list demonstrates:

249: Tiptronic 5 -speed
288: Headlight sprinklers
340: Heated seat Right
425: Rear windscreen wiper
432: Steering wheel mounted Tiptronic controls
437: Electrically adjustable seat left
438: Electrically adjustable seat right
454: Cruise control
476: PSM 490: Basic Sound System
537: Memory seat left
586: lumbar support left
601: Litronic Xenon lights
650: Sunroof
659: Board computer
662: PCM 1
663: Telephone handset
692: 6 CD exchanger
939: Draped leather rear seat
981: Leather dashboard and door cards
982: Draped leather front seats

The car has been very well cared for over the years and has remained in good condition. The Porsche 996 has strongly gain ed in popularity recently. The first water cooled 911’s are helped by the fact air-cooled 911’s now command astrological prices. A well-maintained 996 all of a sudden appeals for those seeking to join the longest running sportscar institute because of its fair pricing.

The car’s bodywork is in excellent condition. The well aligned panelwork is nice and thin. The sunroof shuts tight and the lights are neat. For cosmetic purposes the car was resprayed and still looks good with only a few blemishes commiserate with the car’s age and milage. It has fetching Porsche wheels shod in correctly sized tyres. The replaced exhaust is very tidy. The interior is also in good shape. The inside has the appearance of a car used for long distance travel. The seat leather and carpets all present very well. A neat leather clad dashboard adds cachet above a synthetic one. The Porsche 911 not for nothing has earned the honorary title of being the ultimate daily drive sportscar. This is because of all the added creature comforts. It has air-conditioning, a good audio system and cruise control. All to make life easier and more comfortable so you can concentrate on really matters with a Porsche and that is: Driving!

Driving a 911 is nothing less than a unique experience. This Porsche 996 has a 3.4 litre boxer engine putting out some 300 horse-power. We have a supple functioning 5-speed automatic that can also be operated from the steering wheel sited Tiptronic. The car’s transmission is perfectly suited to the 911 and makes driving long distances a doddle. Over the years maintenance has been perfect and we have a full service history available to prove it. Brakes and suspension are in very good order and contribute to the Porsche’s good handling. It has a top-speed of 275 km/hr and a 6 second dash from zero to 100 km/hr.

The car comes with its original car wallet, a file with invoices and service rapports.

We cannot say anything other than this is a very attractively assembled Porsche 996 3.4 with Tiptronic and a fine finish both inside and out.
