Beschreibung
Introduced in 1964, the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was built to accommodate customers who desired the practicality of a four-seat layout. Launched in 1965, a Series II model saw improvements and equipment revisions, while the four-headlight design was replaced with a more attractive two-headlight arrangement.
This 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 is one of approximately 460 Series II examples built from mid-1965 through autumn 1967. While its early history is unknown, this 330 GT was purchased into current collector ownership from Ferrari specialist Tom Shaughnessy in 2012. During a restoration process that was completed in 2021 and returned the Ferrari to its original luster, this 330 GT was completely disassembled and stripped. The matching-numbers engine, as well as the suspension and braking components were overhauled. All brightwork was replated, including the bumpers and grille. Resembling its original color scheme, a new burgundy leather interior was crafted, while the exterior was refinished in Blu Mirabeau (Mirabeau Blue), a more contemporary Ferrari blue that beautifully renders this 330 GT’s curves and delicate creases more so than other colors might.
This 330 GT is equipped with Borrani wire wheels, matching spare, and power windows, and comes with a copy of the original owner’s manual, service book, and restoration receipts. Those looking for a beautifully restored Ferrari V-12 classic in a family-friendly package need look no further.
