Beschreibung
"The XK was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1996 and was last manufactured in July 2014. However, the redesigned XK debuted in 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, styled by Jaguar's chief designer, Ian Callum. Its grille was also inspired from the famous 1961 Jaguar E-Type. Aside from the enhanced performance, Jaguar decided to add more in the way of trim and colour options inside and out for the Portfolio. The subtle changes to the XK's exterior offer little clue as to the car's changed personality. There's no yawning gap between old and new, but this XK offers a sharper, more precise driving experience and one that keen drivers will relish.
This lovely example is finished in black with ivory leather interior and an aluminium interior pack. The car is a well specified with factory upgrades including keyless entry, aluminium centre console finish, front parking aid, electric fold back door mirrors, heated front windscreen, satellite navigation and auto air recirculation. The price paid, when new in June 2006, was north of £65,000 and this example is supplied with the private plate, 8 JYT, valued at c.£5,000. We are informed by our vendor that the car has a full service history and has just had a recent service and has an MoT test certificate valid until October 2020. The car comes with an electric hood in black and is powered by the mighty 4.2 litre, V8 engine mated to its smooth automatic gearbox which provides more than enough power to propel this luxury sports convertible to speeds far exceeding our UK speed limit. Our vendor describes the car as 'a faultless drive which is as smooth as a hot knife through butter'.."
