Nine period photographs depicting the Napier Campbell Blue Bird Land Speed Record car at Pendine Sands 1927, each 5½ x 7½ inch monochrome photographs, some with Daily Mirror faded ink stamps to reverse, various scenes depicting the car undergoing maintenance, pre-attempt preparations and at speed at the sands including one image passing the line, some images featuring Campbell and Leo Villa, at the successful Speed Record attempt on 4th February achieving an average of 174.88mph over the mile, detached from the original photo album (included with the Lot), and with other press cuttings.
