A 1912 BARC Eighth Short Motor Cycle Race 2nd place sterling silver trophy, awarded to Malcolm Campbell, twin handled cup by Elkington & Co, hallmarked London 1912, engraved to one side 'B.A.R.C. - The Eighth Short Motor Cycle Race - 2nd - M.Campbell - 27.5.12', the other side later engraved 'To Sid - In Appreciation of His Friendship and Long Association with the "Skipper" from Donald 1950', the trophy 15cm high and weighing approximately 439gms.
