It was acquired by us from the second owner, a noted Southern California collector in 1995 with slightly over 47,000 miles traveled, still wearing its original California Black license plates and accompanied by some interesting original documentation.  The original paint had been removed revealing its unmolested sheet metal beneath and the engine had been freshly gone through by his Ferrari specialists. The factory build sheet shows that it was delivered with a combination of blue shades for the exterior and interior.  We carefully completed the restoration to the order of one of our favorite clients from whom it was later reacquired, finished to suit in period Rolls Royce colors of Silver Mink over Seychelles Blue with Surf Blue hides (to match his wife's eyes) piped Grey.

This is an exceptionally strong performer, mechanically upgraded using technology unavailable 59 years ago.  A delightful motorcar in every respect.  The vehicle is now in the hands of a noted collector and may be viewed by appointment in Florence, Italy.  ]]>
