Porsche introduced the 944, based on the 924 platform, in 1982. The 944 featured a similar but wider body style compared to the 924. The 944 is described as one of the better handling sports cars from the 1980s, this is due in large part to its front-engine, rear transaxle design which gave the car a near 50/50 weight distribution. One source reports Porsche produced 10,689 examples of the 944 for the 1987 model year.

This 1987 Porsche 944 is presented in red. The car is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine which is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. Among the equipment on this car is power windows, steering and four-wheel disc brakes. The interior is completed in tan leather with bucket seats, featuring an Alpine AM/FM radio and air conditioning.
