The Model: The 993 Porsches represent a lot of great ‘lasts’ for the 911 platform. These famous ‘lasts’ (last air-cooled 911s and last handbuilt 911s) are what make them legendary cars in today’s market. For many, this is not only where the magic of the early 911s ended, the 993 is also seen as the greatest of the breed. None were greater than the mighty 993 Turbos. Using technology derived from the 959 supercar, Porsche launched the 993 Turbo in 1995 as the first standard production Porsche with twin turbochargers and the first 911 Turbo to be equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system. The 3.6 liter engine delivered 402 bhp and was visually distinctive by its wider rear fenders, bespoke bumper moldings, and new 18-inch hollow spoke wheels. Underneath, Porsche specified larger disk brakes for the turbo models. Today, the 993 Turbo stands as a benchmark for all sports cars.
The Car: This incredible 993 Turbo is resplendent in gorgeous black paint with an equally immaculate black leather interior. Not only is this car in amazing preserved condition, it benefits from two very rare and desirable interior options, Sports Hardback Seats and the Carbon Driver Zone package. The carbon fiber and brushed aluminum interior is breathtaking. These options added $9,000 to the car when new and as such are an extremely rare and sought-after combination. This car has come from long term ownership and is represented as having no accidents or having ever been taken apart. This amazing 911 is accompanied by all original books and tools as well as the 18inch turbo-only wheels. This is the pinnacle of the air-cooled Porsche market. Don’t miss out on this incredible, exclusively optioned, 911 Turbo.
