This Porsche 911 Carrera Cup was sold as a factory delivery in Stuttgart on 28th of January 1992 to Mr. René Vogt in Switzerland. He had the car imported into Switzerland and in May 1992, it was also given a Swiss road registration. In 1992 and the following year, he had competed successfully in international races with this Cup-Porsche.

The basis of the Porsche Cup, which has been held since 1990, was until then the Porsche 911 Carrera 2. From 1992, the Cup car was based on the Porsche 911 Carrera RS. The Porsche racing department in Weissach had developed the Porsche 911 Carrera Cup a big step further. With the model year 1992, the engine output was raised to 275 hp. Weight optimizations such as thin glass panels in the doors and at the rear, optimized the power-to-weight ratio. The front wheel hubs were now made of aluminum and 18-inch magnesium racing wheels replaced the aluminum wheels of the predecessor. For the first time, 18-inch wheels were used, replacing the 17-inchers. An important change also concerned the ABS: by pressing hard on the brake pedal, the ABS could be switched off in an emergency situation and the wheels could be locked.

Only 112 of these very rare 1992 RS-based Porsche 911 Carrera Cup cars were built. Legendary is also the final of the Porsche Cup 1993 in Hockenheim, where Uwe Alzen and Altfrid Heger had driven themselves around head and neck with these racing cars!
This car is in a very nice condition and is breathtakingly to drive.

Dieser Porsche 911 Carrera Cup wurde als Werksauslieferung in Stuttgart am 28.01.1992 an Herrn René Vogt in der Schweiz verkauft. Er liess das Fahrzeug in die Schweiz einführen und im Mai 1992 wurde es auch mit einer Schweizer Strassenzulassung versehen. Im Jahr 1992 und drauffolgend bestritt er international erfolgreich Rennen mit diesem Cup-Fahrzeug.

Die Basis der seit 1990 ausgetragene Porsche-Cup war bis anhin der Porsche 911 Carrera 2. Dieses Cup-Fahrzeug basiert jedoch auf dem Porsche 911 Carrera RS, der ab 1992 angeboten wurde. Die Porsche-Rennabteilung in Weissach entwickelte damit den Porsche 911 Carrera Cup weiter. Mit dem Modelljahr 1992 wurde die Motorenleistung auf 275 PS angehoben. Gewichtsoptimierungen wie z.B. Dünnglasscheiben in den Türen und hinten optimierten das Leistungsgewicht weiter. Die Radnaben vorne wurden nun aus Aluminium gefertigt und 18-Zoll Magnesium-Rennfelgen ersetzten die Aluminium-Räder des Vorgängers. Erstmals wurden die Räder im 18-Zollformat eingesetzt und lösten die 17-Zöller ab. Eine wichtige Änderung betraf auch das ABS: Durch einen kräftigen Tritt auf das Bremspedal war das ABS im Notfall abschalt- und damit die Räder blockierbar.

Diese sehr raren Porsche 911 Carrera Cup aus dem Jahre 1992 auf RS-Basis wurden lediglich in 112 Exemplaren gefertigt. Legendär ist auch das Finale des Porsche-Cups 1993 in Hockenheim, wo Uwe Alzen und Altfrid Heger sich mit diesen Rennfahrzeugen um Kopf und Kragen fuhren!

Dieses Fahrzeug befindet sich in einem sehr schönen Zustand und fährt sich atemberaubend.
