Beschreibung

"Introduced in 1998, the MV Agusta F4 was the motorcycle that brought the famed MV Agusta brand back to life. The F4 was designed by Massimo Tamburini at the MV Agusta’s famed Cagiva Research Centre in San Marino. Tamburini was also responsible for the design of the Ducati 916 and he is credited with launching the resurrection of MV Agusta. Development of the F4’s engine was assisted by engineers at Ferrari and, as a result, this is one of few superbikes available that features a hemispherical chamber and a four-valves-per-cylinder engine. Considered to be one of the best sport bikes in the world at the time of its release, the F4 uses an abundance of carbon fibre and alloy castings, which gives it one of the best power to weight ratios of any bike in its class, weighing a feather light 180kg.
This was originally ordered and built for H.R.H. Prince Khaled Bin Al Waleed and is a pre-production machine as defined by the F400 in the chassis number instead of F401. (as used on production bikes) There is a plaque on the MV confirming this to be a ‘one of one’ model. Presenting in superb unmarked condition in a unique colour of matt grey, this very special motorcycle was manufactured with an 01 Viper Specification engine. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 28th March 2020, this is registered on HPI as a category C insurance loss. Unfortunately the second and current owner had the MV stolen a week into his ownership. Supporting evidence confirms the only damage was a rear tyre and a complete change of all the locks which were exceedingly difficult to locate at the time. This MV Agusta F4 750 S is a collectors dream; a factory built one-off special."
