The 190 SL on offer was built in 1957 and was bought in Lyon in by the current owner in 2012. His uncle, owner of a collection of classic cars in Toulouse, undertook considerable restoration work to make the car fully reliable. It has been inspected by Lang, authorized valuers at Tourneufeuille. It is in nicely patinated original condition with good chromework and its mechanicals are sound and function correctly. The chassis number indicated in the registration documents is the same as the one on the maker’s plate and on the chassis stamping. The wearing parts of the engine were replaced in 2011 and those of the rear suspension in 2014. The upholstery is handsome and the whole interior welcoming. All the dashboard instruments are in good condition and attention is particularly drawn to the original little Becker Mexico car radio. The hood material and the soft rear window look good and have no tears or damage. Very elegant in her white paintwork, this nicely patinated car has an attractive estimated price and is a good opportunity not to be missed.
