The Model: Lamborghini chose the Murcielago name for a famous fighting bull that survived 24 sword strokes in an 1879 fight. Murcielago, ‘bat’ in Spanish, was spared and survived to sire a line of fighting bulls from the Miura estate, namesake to another Lamborghini legend. Lamborghini’s tribute to Murcielago is an all-wheel drive, mid-engined legend in its own right. The low-slung angular body falls just under four feet at its highest point. The scissor doors make the Murcielago instantly recognizable. The 6.2 liter V12 churns out 572 bhp. The six-speed manual transmission distributed the power to all four wheels. With the capability to reach 206 miles per hour, Lamborghini employed active air intakes and an electromechanically controlled rear spoiler to maximize stability and efficiency.
The Car: This Murcielago is in incredibly clean condition. The Titanium Metallic paint presents in exceptional condition as does the fabulous unmarked black leather interior. An extremely rare six-speed manual transmission makes this the perfect car for the driver who wants to be involved. Excellent weight distribution, all-wheel drive and an active load-leveling suspension ensure outstanding performance and a comfortable ride. The six piston front calipers and four-wheel carbon-ceramic disk brakes control the power. This car features black aluminum wheels and comes equipped with a Larini exhaust system that yields an incredible sound. This beautiful Murcielago is a fully up to date on its maintenance and the V12 is ready to thrill!
