Beschreibung
"Jaguar cars today are designed in Jaguar Land Rover's engineering centres at the Whitley plant in Coventry and Gaydon in Warwickshire, whilst manufacturing takes place in Jaguar's Castle Bromwich assembly plant in Birmingham. The Jaguar XK series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March 1996; the first generation of the series being the XK8 which replaced the XJS and was available as a coupé and convertible. It was the first, eight cylinder vehicle produced since the Daimler 250. The XK8 came with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather interior, burr walnut trim and side airbags as standard.
This delightful example is presented in British Racing Green with cream leather interior and boasts a good specification. This includes optional 18-inch alloy wheels, heated seats, wood leather steering wheel and a ‘classic interior’ coupled with a matching, green mohair hood, all in excellent order. Having covered just 49,652 miles and been subject to ten Jaguar services, this motorcar has since been cared for by specialists. Present within the history file are a V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate, the service history itself and a Jaguar pack including owner’s manual, radio guide and other information. Such examples with careful ownership and low mileage are becoming rare; these are great cars to drive with comfort and power in abundance. Considered to be a future classic, this Jaguar appears to be very realistically estimated."
