Produced from 1948 to 1954, the Jaguar XK120 is the little sister of the XK series. Thinner, sportier and more sober than the 140 and 150, the XK120 stands out for its simplicity and elegance. The XK120, powered by its 160 horsepower 6-cylinder engine, has the reputation of being the fastest production car of its time. In fact, a slightly modified model with a driver's bubble and tonneau cover was recorded at 219 km/h in the small town of Jabbeke, Belgium. The XK120 was produced in 12,055 units as a coupe or convertible.
