Successor to the legendary E-type, the XJS was introduced in 1975, initially only available with Jaguar’s V12 engine. 1983 saw the introduction of Jaguar’s all-new 3.6 litres AJ6 engine in the XJS, at the same time a convertible option was introduced, the XJSC.
The powerful and torquey AJ6 engine is widely considered to be the most reliable engine family ever built by Jaguar and has become a sought-after variant of the XJS, especially when mated to the 5-speed Getrag manual gearbox and in convertible form.

The Jaguar XJSC presented here is one of just 60 XJSC’s ever produced for the Belgium market.
It was acquired in 1998 at just 43.000km by the oldest Official Jaguar Dealership in Belgium when the XJSC was traded in for a new XK8.
The dealer soon found a new owner for the XJSC, who bought the car as a present for his partner, that fell in love with the Jaguar but wanted it finished in metallic red.
A very thorough and high-quality repaint in metallic red was carried out by the official Jaguar dealer, who maintained the car ever since.
On the outside, the exterior of the XJSC still looks very nice and clean.
Inside, the Jaguar is still highly original, retaining its original Doeskin leather interior that is still in excellent condition. This comes as no surprise, considering the XJSC has only covered 87.898km from new.
