Our E-Type Jaguar, a Series 2 model, came off the assembly line in September 1969. This car was destined for the North American market and is fitted with a 4.2-litre six-cylinder engine. It is presented in very good overall condition and is attractively finished in a deep red, which is certainly its original colour. Purchased in 2013 by its current owner, the car has been well maintained, and the clutch was replaced in 2013. In 2016 the upholstery was redone, and the tyres and alternator replaced. More recently, the vinyl hood was completely restored, and the battery and twin fans replaced. With a recorded mileage of just under 100,000km (62,000 miles), this handsome roadster is ready to set off on holiday.
