Model History
It was equiped with an 8-cylinder, 300 horsepower engine. The power was delivered to the rear wheels by 3-speed automatic gearbox. Car was a middle rangemodel produced from 1959 until 1974 with different body types. It was available as a two-door convertible (Sunliner) and 2- and 4-door sedan. During its production the model was changed several times. From 1961 the car was lighter and shorter. There were 187 506 Galaxies made.

Vehicle History
Car offered by Ardor Auctions is exceptional. It was carefully restored according to its factory spectification. This actual Ford Galaxie was ordered in United States by a pastor who was sent for a mission to Poland. The car was delivered in the same colors as it is now. From its delivery it was driven on polish roads. This specific car was also used in a single episode of „Stawiam na Tolka Banana” TV series. Like most of foreign cars, that were imported to Poland before 1989, this Galaxie Sunliner is a good witness of years, when foreign car parts were scarce. On this vehicle for example, indicator lamps were replaced with a Polish Fiat 125p set. It is a very interesting offer for people looking for pre-1989 cars.
