To commemorate the 50th anniversary, Buick introduced the limited production, top-of-the-line Skylark as a marque of its leadership in design. In the two years of production, the run of 1,690 units proved successful and an amazing sales feat considering each was priced in excess of $5,000. This 1953 Skylark finished in a head-turning orange with beige convertible top will cross the blocks Saturday, March 12th at the Motostalgia Amelia Island Auction D'elegance.
