The performance of the new M3 surpassed its predecessor in every measurable way, and period road tests raved about the BMW’s value when compared against cars with similar performance such as the Porsche 993 and Ferrari F355. Introduced in the American market for the 1995 model year, the US-specification M3 was powered by the new S50 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, which produced 240 hp.

This exciting 1995 M3 was delivered new in Nevada and remained with its original owner until 2018, when it was acquired by Rudy Mancinas for his growing BMW collection. This M3 is finished in the very rare and desirable color of Dakar Yellow and features the equally uncommon M Rain cloth upholstery. Additional equipment includes the sought-after Vader seats, M Sports steering wheel, sunroof, heated seats, and five-speed manual gearbox. In all respects, this is a remarkably well-preserved, unmodified example of the E36 M3 showing under 41,000 miles at the time of cataloguing.
