- Imported into Italy in 1985, in Rome, it has the number plates of the time.
- Saphirblau Metallic colour with blue fabric interior. The body was repainted a few years ago, with interior in excellent condition. The detachable roof and rear hood are original and in very good condition. It comes with its rare soft-top cover, and the original wheels and steering wheel are available.
- Original and fully functional mechanics recently serviced with timing belt replaced. Currently fitted with new shock absorbers with slightly lowered springs for aesthetic purposes, but original springs also supplied.
- The TC Baur version – TC stands for “Top Cabriolet” – Is not a true cabriolet, but closer to the Targa concept. However, unlike the Targa version of the Porsche 911, it also offers the option of folding down the rear part of the roof, creating a more convertible feel. Its unmistakable line makes it a classic appreciated by every BMW collector.
