The Alfa Romeo 164 presented here left the factory on August 3rd 1990 in its original two-tone blue and grey colour and with its 2.0L Twinspark aluminium engine delivering 150 hp. Purchased new by the current owner, it was financed by a 60 month lease on behalf of his company until 1995 when he decided to pay off his balance and take the car in his name. If the bodywork of the car has some defects, the interior and the velvet upholstery are in new condition; the sky blue seats have no marks or tears, the dashboard plastics have no cracks or whitening and we find it hard to believe that this car has just passed the 30 years without taking a wrinkle.
On the engine side, the 2.0L can be comfortable as well as dynamic with a nice exhaust note when revved up.
Sold with its original maintenance booklets and user manuals, this Alfa Romeo 164 is a good way to stand out from the crowd and to drive "differently" in a comfortable and spacious sedan.
