Beschreibung
For 30 years, on Via Telemaco Signorini in Bologna, NCR represented and built the official Ducatis of the company's racing department. Over the years, everything from Mike Hailwood's 900 SS to Tony Rutter's 600 TT2 and Doug Polen's 888 SP in World Superbike have come out of that small workshop.
Founded in 1967 by the three partners Nepoti, Caracchi and Rizzi, NCR was a hub of experienced engine and chassis engineers, who showcased Ducati motorbikes on circuits around the world for 27 years, until it closed its doors in 1994.
This 900 was rediscovered and then sold to its owner by the Celani dealership in Rome, who then undertook a lengthy restoration, commissioned to mechanic Massimo Tulli. Once completed, the bike became part of an important motorbike collection and has been maintained ever since
